Patrick M. Lynch is a shareholder of the firm and manages the firm’s bankruptcy practice.  Before joining Beasley, Hightower & Harris, P.C. in 2010 he was a briefing attorney for the honorable Ronald B. King, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Bankruptcy Court of the Western District of Texas.  During his time with the court Patrick advised the judge on a number of complex bankruptcy issues, including fraudulent transfers, dischargability of debts obtained by misrepresentation or fraud, community property laws, and business organization laws in California and Texas.  Today Patrick represents clients in numerous matters before bankruptcy courts throughout Texas and has successfully defended against claims for violation of the automatic stay and discharge injunction.  In addition to his work in the bankruptcy courts, Patrick deals extensively with the protection of his clients’ collateral against constitutional possessory liens, seizure and forfeiture actions, and fraudulent titles.  Prior to joining the legal profession, Patrick was an Emmy-award winning television news producer at the ABC affiliate station in Waco, Texas, writing and managing daily prime-time newscasts.
